European Executive Express, a Swedish airline, is to launch services between Mariehamn in the Aland Islands and Stockholm's Arlanda airport, Sweden this month.

There have not been any services between the two airports since the SAS subsidiary Air Botnia cancelled the route in October last year.

The agreement for the route, between the Aland Islands taxi carrier Skargardsflyg and European Executive Express, means that the route will be operated as a return service every morning and night by a Jetstream 31 aircraft that takes 18 passengers.
