KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 2 Asia Pulse - PNE PCB Berhad (KLSE:PNEPCB) is planning to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in China to manufacture printed circuit boards, executive chairman Tan Kong Heng said.
"Having a new plant in China will not only increase our capacity, it will also help us remain competitive," he said in the company's annual report for the year ended 30 Sept 2001.
"We are at the final phase of negotiation with the local authority pertaining to the investment. We would expect the new factory in China to operate before the 3rd quarter 2002."
