American Home Products Corporation (Madison, NJ; 973-660-5340), one of the world's largest research-based pharmaceutical and health care products companies, and Elan Corporation, plc (Dublin, Ireland; 353-1-709-4080), a leading biopharmaceutical and drug delivery company, announced a strategic alliance to develop and commercialize novel therapeutics for the treatment of sleep disorders.
