When you hear the name Steve Wynn, you probably think of the Las Vegas casino mogul who owns the Bellagio and is building the $1 billion Borgata in Atlantic City.
This is a column about the other Steve Wynn. The 41-year-old New Yorker who hasn't been remunerated quite as well for a career that stretches back to his days as founder of the Dream Syndicate, leading lights of the early 1980s Los Angeles Paisley Underground scene. The guy who put out the best record of 2001 you've never heard of.
