When you hear the name Steve Wynn, you probably think of the Las Vegas casino mogul who owns the Bellagio and is building the $1 billion Borgata in Atlantic City.

This is a column about the other Steve Wynn. The 41-year-old New Yorker who hasn't been remunerated quite as well for a career that stretches back to his days as founder of the Dream Syndicate, leading lights of the early 1980s Los Angeles Paisley Underground scene.
