INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE EURO The euro is replacing existing currencies in 12 EU countries - France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Finland, Austria, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Ireland.
The plural of Euro is Euro.
One euro is divided into 100 euro cents. There are eight coins, worth one and two euro, as well as one, two, five, 10, 20, and 50 cents.
