NORFOLK -- The Abominable Snowman met two Siberian tiger sisters Friday at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk.
One of them, Shere Khan, reared on her hind legs and took off the snowman's head. Her sister, Shaka Khan, watched with interest.
So much for the Abominable Snowman.
To pique the tigers' interest in the snowman the zoo trainers had sprayed it with perfume.
The two sisters arrived in the United States nine years ago, a pair of illegal immigrants for sale on the black market.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service offered the pair to Norfolk, and, quick as a cat, Norfolk offered ...
