SHE remains the only Welsh actress ever to be nominated for an Oscar.
But despite being one of Wales' most talented stars - triumphing with films like Saturday Night, Sunday Morning and This Sporting Life - and marriage to superstar Rex Harrison, Rachel Roberts committed suicide in 1980, aged 53.
