MICHIGAN STATE POLICE NEWS CONFERENCE ON AUTOMOBILE THEFT ARREST

Michigan State Police earlier today arrested a suspect in Garden City on 112 felony counts relating to automobile theft. This is believed to be the largest single auto-theft-related arrest in state history.

Details of the case will be released as part of the 1 p.m. news conference (announced Thursday) in Canton Township, to be held by Col. R.T. Davis, director of the State Police and chair of the Michigan Automobile Theft Prevention Authority.
