DIXON TICONDEROGA COMPANY REPORTS LOSS FOR 1990 FIRST QUARTER

VERO BEACH, Fla., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Dixon Ticonderoga Company (AMEX: DXT) today reported a loss for the first quarter ended Dec. 31, 1989.

The loss was $367,012 or 12 cents per share, on revenues of $18,667,874. This compares with net income of $240,709, or eight cents per share, on revenues of $17,967,118, for the 1989 first quarter.
