HIGHWAY PATROL PROMOTES CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will observe Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week (Feb. 11-17) with a statewide information campaign designed to maximize the proper use of child safety seats and safety belts whenever children are passengers.
The department will also mount a maximum effort to cite all drivers who fail to protect their child passengers as required by the child passenger seat and safety belt laws.
