LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas is home to one of the largest convention facilities in the world totaling 3.2 million square feet with this month's opening of a $170 million, 1.3-million-square-foot expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). The expansion of the convention center's South Hall is the most ambitious construction project in the 47-year history of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).
