Jan. 7--A large developer is considering building a golf course, housing and offices in Eagan and Inver Grove Heights in what has been described as a huge project.
Eagan has looked for a site for a municipal golf course for years and since the summer the city's effort picked up steam. Debate has focused recently over the city's consideration of the 110-acre Patrick Eagan Park as a site, with citizens groups and the local Sierra Club chapter rallying against it.
