Article: CHINESE IFDA CHAPTER REORGANIZES.(International Furnishings and Design Association)(Brief Article)

BEIJING-The implications of China's entry into the World Trade Organization and its growing role in the home furnishings industry have sparked the reorganization of a Chinese International Furnishings and Design Association chapter.

The re-energized chapter, based here, is now IFDA's only international chapter, although the association has many members-at-large across the globe.

The new group has about 20 members, coming from the manufacturing, distributing, communications and education segments of the interior furnishings industry, said Claire Coleman, vice president of marketing for IFDA.
