ROCHESTER TEL TO ACQUIRE SIXTH TELEPHONE COMPANY IN ILLINOIS,
SCHUYLER TELEPHONE CO.
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Rochester Telephone Corp. (NYSE: RTC) announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire the Schuyler Telephone Co. of Rushville, Ill.
The joint announcement was made David C. Mitchell, president of Rochester Tel's Telephone Group, and Gary Crum, president of Schuyler Telephone.
Schuyler Telephone Co., founded in 1912 as a community telephone company, serves about 3,600 access lines in two exchanges in Illinois and Iowa. The Illinois exchange is located in Rushville, which ...
