Columbia ParCar Corporation recently announced that it plans to enter one of its low speed, zero-emission, neighborhood electric vehicles (NEVs) in the NEV America testing program sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE) and test participants. Held in Phoenix, AZ, the purpose of the test is to assure that any NEV sold for use by government agencies meets specific safety and performance standards.
The company said that it will enter its NEV Commuter low-speed vehicle (LSV) in the program.
