Jan. 8--A "phenomenal" increase in demand for Turkey Hill Dairy iced tea and ice cream has prompted the third-generation family company to expand its Manor Township plant and warehouse.
The 70-year-old company announced Monday that it will submit a land-use plan to township and county planners as early as this month to add to its 2601 River Road operations.
The estimated $20 million construction project would be the fourth expansion at the site since 1980. The four-building complex, which includes the company headquarters, now totals 225,000 square feet.
