IRVINE, Calif. -- Broadcom Corporation , the leading provider of integrated circuits enabling broadband communications, today announced that three of its customers received certification from CableLabs(R) for their Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS(TM)) 1.1 high-speed cable modems that use Broadcom integrated circuits (ICs). These vendors submitted products incorporating the Broadcom(R) BCM3350 cable modem gateway chip, the BCM3345 high-performance, single-chip cable modem and the BCM3415 digital cable tuner chip, to gain DOCSIS 1.1 certification.
