A growing number of self-proclaimed allergy specialists calling themselves "clinical ecologists" would have us believe that food allergies affect millions of people, causing conditions that range from obesity to unruly behavior. In addition, some well-meaning, qualified allergists are overdiagnosing food allergies because they are using inappropriate diagnostic tests.
