Q. My cat Kelli has what appears to be dandruff. She is a black cat, so it really shows up on her. She is not itchy and I don't see any fleas on her. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do for her?
A. Dandruff is basically a collection of dead skin cells. It occurs because of an abnormality in keratinization (the process of replacing dead skin cells).
