EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A few newcomers joined the list of Los Angeles County's most valuable properties, as four of the top 10, including Chevron Refinery Storage Facility and the Getty Center's Church Lane property, debuted on the list this year.
Oil refineries still dominate the top of the list, with seven of the top 10 properties, with assessed values ranging from $587 million to $1.2 billion and operated by petroleum companies in South Bay communities like El Segundo, Carson and Wilmington. These properties generally appreciated by between 10 and 20 percent over the past two years.
