Jan. 10--Showtime exhibitors felt the refreshing breeze of a boost in momentum this week.
As the fabrics and leather trade show concludes at 4 p.m., most exhibitors surveyed say they are more optimistic about their businesses in 2002 than prior to arriving.
The main reason for the improved outlook is that most exhibitors say they gained a realistic look at inventory levels among furniture manufacturers.
They are hopeful that the cautious nature of furniture manufacturers and retailers in 2001 will should translate into new order opportunities in 2002. ...
