ORTING -- There's a special bond between old men and boys when they talk fishing. Maybe it's in the genetic coding, or what they call "a guy thing," but David Nielsen had it with his Grandpa George LaWall, until he died about two years ago.
"My dad had an incredible relationship with David," said his mom, Linda Nielsen. "Dad was there when David was born. And he nurtured him; he was always there for him. And they talked a lot about fishing." All that seemed to die with Grandpa LaWall, just as David was in the sometimes awkward and always vulnerable junior-high age.
