Generalized Analytical Equations for Strip Transmission Lines
Introduction
The accurate determination of the characteristic impedance of a strip transmission line is essential in component design. There is a large number of sources available on this subject.[1] Exact solutions for all possible cases are cumbersome and the value of the small increase in accuracy over reasonable and valid approximation is questionable.
