This is one possible scenario if the U.S. extends the war and tries to kill or capture Saddam Hussein.
We send 50,000 combat troops to Kuwait to stage the invasion of Iraq.
Hussein mobilizes 500,000 troops to meet the invaders. You can't hide 500,000 troops, so we know where they are.
Our primary weapon is the 15,000-pound bomb called the "daisy cutter." We've seen many TV shots of the damage done by these bombs in Afghanistan.
The pictures don't do these bombs justice. The description I get from a friend who I think knows what he's talking about is both frightening and reassuring.
