Onondaga County sheriff's detectives are investigating the robbery of a gas station in Camillus early Friday morning.
Deputy John D'Eredita gave the following report:
A man between 25 and 30 entered the Sunoco station at 3385 Milton Ave. shortly after 3 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk.
The robber walked behind the counter, struggled with the clerk, then reached in the register and grabbed a handful of cash. The thief also claimed to have a weapon, but never displayed one.
