Airing in their 30th and 29th years of production, respectively, both "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" and the "American Music Awards" brought top ratings for dick clark productions, inc. (Nasdaq:DCPI).

The total of six and one-half hours of special programming were broadcast on December 31, 2001/January 1, 2002 and January 9, 2002 on ABC.
