TAMPA, Fla. _ It was early in Jerry Wunsch's career as a Bucs offensive lineman when he found himself at a charity softball game with Tony Dungy. So many fans asking for only one thing _ a little bit of time from the professional athletes and coaches.
And all Dungy had was time.
"He actually crawled into the stands and sat with the people and talked with the people and signed every autograph," Wunsch said.
It's interesting what people remember.
Wunsch chose that night as his best memory of his former coach. A night when Dungy became a real person to those who follow the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, walking out of their TV sets to take a seat ...
