Los Angeles opted for angels.
And soon, Thousand Oaks will have ... rabbits.
The City Council recently endorsed the concept of placing 5-foot-tall, three-dimensional rabbit sculptures - sponsored by businesses and residents for $2,000 each - around the Conejo Valley community. ``Conejo'' is Spanish for rabbit.
``It's a wonderful public arts project,'' city Visual Arts Coordinator Mary Ann Tachco said. ``Public art is really a way to bring the community together.
