PHILLIPS PETROLEUM COMPLETES HF ALKYLATION PLANTS FOR SINOPEC
SHANGHAI, China, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Start-up work has been completed
for the last of five HF (hydrofluoric acid) Alkylation plants to be built with Phillips Petroleum (NYSE: P) help in the People's Republic of China.
SINOPEC, the Chinese state-owned corporation, chose to license the Phillips Petroleum design to produce high-octane gasoline for domestic use and export at refineries in Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Luoyang and Da Lian.
