The Wireless Marketing Association and the Wireless Advertising Association have merged to become the Mobile Marketing Association.

The move creates a single selfregulatory body for the wireless marketing sector and ends months of confusion over the respective roles of the two organisations.

The merged Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) will be a global organisation, while still retaining a strong local focus on any country-specific issues.
