MICHIGAN CITY, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2002
(HBNC) Horizon Bank, LaPorte County's largest bank in deposit holdings, increased its market share in 2001.
Horizon now covers 32 percent of deposits, up from 30 percent in 2000. The market share is double the amount of the next largest bank in the county, and is larger than the total market share of seven financial institutions in the county combined. The increase marks the fourth consecutive year of market share growth.
