Bill von Rutenberg owns a chain of restaurants, but they are not a restaurant chain, so to speak. Their only link is the waters of Lake Mendota and the Yahara River.
If you have ever dined at the Mariner's Inn, Captain Bill's or the Nau-ti-Gal, or on the Betty Lou Cruises, you have eaten in a von Rutenberg restaurant.
