North Texas overcame an eight-point halftime deficit with a 46-point second half to beat the University of Denver 78-70 in a Sun Belt Conference game before 643 at Magness Arena Thursday night.
North Texas shot .600 from the field in the second half. Denver shot .370 in the final 20 minutes.
Chris Davis scored 17 points and Jermaine Green scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Mean Green.
Wahhab Carter paced Denver with 20 points.
