Seattle Chamber Players has, since its inception 13 years ago, consistently presented concerts that are as varied, unusual, stimulating and forward-looking as any in the city, not to mention very well-played.
With a core of four musicians - flutist Paul Taub, clarinetist Laura DeLuca, violinist Mikhail Schmidt and cellist David Sabee - and frequent guests, the group hasn't always garnered big audiences, but now that it's ensconced at Nordstrom Recital Hall, that is changing.
At the same time, it's receiving more financial support, which in turn means it can expand its vision even further.
