The restored windows and doors of the Rutherford B.H. Yates Museum, Inc., in Houston are prepared for generations of visitors, thanks to clear plastic sheet made from Makrolon DP1-1804 polycarbonate (PC) resin from Bayer Corp. The PC sheet, Hyzod AR from Sheffield Plastics, Inc. (a Bayer subsidiary), is used to unobtrusively protect architectural features of this home, built by Yates circa 1912 in the Freedmen's Town area of Houston, now a National Historic District.
