Sure, it reeks of publicity stunt.
But for Limp Bizkit fans, it was the chance to audition to play guitar in one of the nation's biggest rock-rap bands. That's why hundreds of them lined up in the freezing cold Friday morning for a chance to trade guitar licks with genuine rock stars.
And they did. Skeptics who thought the band would only pay lip service might have to eat their words; Limp Bizkit's frontman, Fred Durst, blew off the American Music Awards last week, yet he rode the tour bus overnight from Salt Lake City to show up in a Westminster parking lot in freezing temperatures to hang with fans. ...
