CLEVELAND and COLUMBUS, Ohio -- With a four-year goal of raising $40 million for Special Olympics by 2003, Cingular announces it has successfully reached the halfway point by raising more than $20.4 million in two years. Funds raised in Ohio totaled $309,740.
Cingular Wireless will present the funds raised throughout the year at the opening ceremonies to the 2002 State Winter Games to be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, January 23 at the Virginia Kendall Lake Shelter in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
