Musician Greg Schaber strums his guitar and asks Latonia Elementary School students if they feel like singing.
''Yes!'' they shout as they bounce to the rhythm.
''Everybody say mojo,'' Schaber says.
As the students respond, he urges them to be louder and louder. Before they realize it, they're singing the blues.
Schaber, a well-known Cincinnati blues musician, is giving the third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students a taste of the blues. He's a volunteer with Blues in the School (BITS), an educational program operated by the Greater Cincinnati Blues Society. Its goal is to expose children to ...
