NEW YORK -- National Association of Chain Drug Stores members gathered here last month for a flurry of year-end activities, including a board meeting, press conference, press lunch and fund-raising dinner.
Representatives of drug chains and their suppliers joined with NACDS executives for events stretching over several days at a number of venues.
The NACDS Charitable Foundation's annual dinner at the Sheraton hotel raised nearly $2 million for various national charities and community organizations, including those aiding the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
