Jan. 24--Boeing is planning to do some engineering work on the fuselage of its future 737-900X model at its Moscow design center rather than in Wichita, the company's second-largest union said Wednesday.
Engineering work on existing 737 fuselages is done in Wichita.
The Moscow engineering work, along with Boeing's plan to shift more 737 production work from Wichita to China, has drawn concern from workers and unions, particularly as Boeing cuts thousands of jobs in Wichita.
