Self-assurance gets you farther than wealth, say college women age 17-23, 86% of whom feel it's better to have lots of confidence than lots of money, according to a Youth Intelligence study commissioned by o.b. Tampons (Personal Products Company). While 81% think it's possible to be too confident, only 8% describe themselves as extremely confident. Four in 10 (42%) are very confident, and 10% say they are not really confident or not at all confident. Men are more confident than women, say two thirds (66%) of college women.
