PAPER CORPORATION OF AMERICA ACQUIRES SMITH PAPER
VALLEY FORGE, Pa., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Paper Corporation of America (PCA), an Alco Standard (NYSE: ASN) company, announced today the acquisition of Smith Paper Ltd., of Vancouver, British Columbia, for an undisclosed amount of cash.
Smith Paper, with annual revenues of (U.S.) $32 million, has a 25- year history as the leading industrial paper distributor in the Canadian market.
In addition to Vancouver, Smith Paper has facilities in Kamloops, Penticton and Prince George, British Columbia. The company will remain at its present locations under the leadership of Patrick D. Mulhern, ...
