Red Hat is expanding the functionality of its strategic Red Hat Network management service to push it into larger enterprises. It's getting a set of workgroup features and a proxy server option.
The workgroup services should come with system grouping and multiple user accounts besides the usual security, bug fix and enhancement alerts collectively known as errata alerts.
System grouping will let administrators group workload-focused systems such as web servers or database servers together and manage them as common configurations.
