TENORMIN (R) INCLUDED IN 'STANDARD CARE' RESULTS FROM GISSI-2 TRIAL
FLORENCE, Italy, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- ICI Pharma announced today a major multicenter study investigating acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients has defined "standard care" in cardiac care unit (CCUs) worldwide. In this study, standard care included Tenormin (R) (atenolol), a cardioselective beta blocker which has demonstrated an essential role in the standard therapeutic regimen of AMI patients.
