INAMORI KAZUO: The greatest problem we face is that people throughout the world operate on an individual basis and are solely concerned with their own personal gains and losses--their own selfish interests. In other words, their standard for both judgment and action is based on whether or not a given proposition is good or bad for them personally. The same holds true among nations.
