HOUSTON -- Compaq Computer Corporation today announced that it has signed a $10 million agreement with Beverly Enterprises Inc. , naming Compaq the company's preferred IT personal computer vendor. The first project under this agreement involves the roll out of over 8,000 desktops to more than 475 Beverly locations across the U.S.
Compaq Global Services has also signed a custom Service Level Agreement (SLA) to manage warranty incidents on existing hardware solutions previously deployed by Beverly. Beverly Enterprises is a leading provider of eldercare services in America.
