IN a rare show of bipartisan agreement in efforts to revive the ailing film industry, several bills are up for consideration in both the Lower House and the Upper House.
In the Lower House, Representatives Imee Marcos and Cynthia Villar have drafted bills aimed at reviving the film industry through tax rebates of quality films. In the Upper House, Senators Loren Legarda-Leviste, Manny Villar, Ralph Recto, and Loi Ejercito have also drafted bills which are basically of the same nature.
