Skiing is one of the most popular sports at the Badger State Winter Games.
And two area athletes are thrilled with the chance to showcase their talents vs. competitors from throughout Wisconsin.
Christopher Lottes of Madison has traveled to Wausau for nine BSG Winter Games and, in the process, has returned home with five gold medals and one silver in downhill events.
Lottes, 22, a student at MATC, is an assistant coach for the Tyrol Basin Junior Race Team. He also does NASTAR pace setting at Tyrol Basin, which is located near Mount Horeb.
