PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local NIGERIAN-AGIP OIL CO. recently awarded a gas expansion contract to DAEWOO ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD. of South Korea. According to the terms of the award, DAEWOO will be responsible for upgrading gas compression and injection systems at a gas plant located in the country's Kwale-Okpai region. In addition, the project will include the installation of a 190 km-long gas pipeline that will run from the plant to the city of Ramuji.
The cost to complete the project has been pegged at $80,000,000.
