Michelin North America Inc. and Continental Tire North America Inc. will increase prices on selected tires in March.
Michelin Americas Truck Tires, a unit of Michelin North America, said it will boost prices by up to 3 percent on commercial truck tires sold to the U.S. replacement market.
The increases are effective March 1 and include the Michelin and BFGoodrich tire brands.
Continental will hike prices from 3 to 6 percent on its Continental- and General-brand light truck and passenger tires, and about 3 percent on General and Continental commercial products, the firm said.
